An updated report from the National Institute of Public Health (FHI) shows that 1 in about 3,000 fully vaccinated people get the coronavirus.

Of a total of 1,598,820 people who have received two doses of the corona vaccine in Norway, 529 (0.03%) have had the virus detected after testing.

Only a few of these people developed coronavirus symptoms, the FHI reports.

“It is very gratifying that the coronavirus vaccines provide such good protection,” FHI chief Camilla Stoltenberg noted in a press release.

Even if they become infected, the vast majority of corona-vaccinated people will only experience milder symptoms of shorter duration compared to unvaccinated people, according to the FHI.
