The traffic at the toll stations in Oslo increased by 3.2% in October this year compared to October 2019, according to Fjellinjen’s figures.

“We see an increase of 3.2% – if you were to compare it with October two years ago. We also saw this trend in August and September, so right now, there is more car traffic in Oslo than before,” traffic analyst Stian Strøm Arnesen at Fjellinjen stated.

Compared with the pandemic year of 2020, traffic increased by as much as 6.8%.

“Our figures for October show an increase of 6.8% if you compare the data with October last year. The increase was most significant on weekends, while on weekdays, the increase was 4.8%,” Arnesen added.
