In the last 24 hours, 224 cases of corona infection have been registered in Asker Municipality – a new municipal daily record.

In the last seven days, a total of 835 infected people have been registered in Asker, according to the Municipality’s statistics.

On Tuesday, a new record of 215 infected was also reported in the neighboring Bærum Municipality.

According to the newspaper Budstikka, 11 people in Asker are suspected of being infected with the omicron variant.

From Monday and until the Christmas holidays, primary schools in the Municipality will operate at the “yellow” level of corona preparedness.
