New infection record in Tromsø: 94 corona cases registered in the last 24 hours

A total of 94 new corona cases have been registered in Tromsø in the last 24 hours, 16 more than the day before. This is the second day in a row with a new daily infection record in the Municipality.

At the moment, 328 people are in isolation as a result of COVID-19, the Municipality stated on Wednesday.

A total of 22 people were admitted to the University Hospital of Northern Norway in Tromsø on Wednesday – as many as the day before.

On Tuesday, there were 78 new cases in the Municipality, and municipal director Stig Tore Johnsen told the newspaper VG that the authorities are strongly considering introducing new measures to reduce the infection.
