A new person has been arrested after the murder of Bård Lanes in Tønsberg in April. The arrested man is charged with complicity in murder.
“The background for the arrest is information the police have revealed through the investigation,” police attorney Fredrik Borg Johannessen stated in a press release.
The man, who is in his early 30s, did not want to explain himself to the police.
Johannessen says that the man is charged with complicity in the murder of 33-year-old Bård Lanes at Kilen in Tønsberg on April 20. Two other men have already been arrested in the case. A man in his mid-20s and a 31-year-old man have previously been charged with murder or complicity in murder.
The man who is now charged with complicity in murder is one of the people who have previously been arrested in connection with the car fire at Sem outside Tønsberg the same night that Lanes was killed. He was arrested in the Tønsberg area.
