A plane from Kabul with Norwegian citizens and other people with connections to Norway landed at Oslo Airport on Monday morning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed.
The plane came from Afghanistan via Tbilisi in Georgia, according to press spokesperson Guri Solberg.
“Norwegian citizens and other people with connections to Norway who have requested assistance to leave Afghanistan were on the flight. There were also some citizens from other countries,” she said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not provide further details regarding passengers for privacy, protection, and security reasons.
It is not known how many passengers were onboard the plane.
