New poll: Støre’s popularity soars, but he is still behind Erna Solberg

A total of 44% of voters in newspaper VG’s latest opinion poll want Jonas Gahr Støre (AP) as prime minister.

With that, he is only 3% behind Erna Solberg (H). The April poll results are great news for the AP leader, who was 14% behind in March.

“These are nice numbers,” Støre told the newspaper.

Of those surveyed, 4% do not want either, while 5% are unsure.

A total of 1,000 people took part in the poll carried out by Respons Analysis, and the margin of error is between 2% and 3%.

  1. Why would Arbeidspartei’s “popularity” be “soaring?”

Have Norwegians already forgotten the permanent damage to Norway Ap has done?

And why should Støre’s pandemic criticism of Solberg and Høyre get any traction at all, considering Norway’s death rate is *one-tenth* that of Sweden’s right next door?

The other party that *should* be soaring in popularity is Senterpartei Sp, considering its concern for Norway, about Norway’s militarization – especially with Biden’s “soulless” confrontational posture against Russia escalating.

(Biden, Blinken, & Sullivan have the blood of *millions* of innocent men, women, and children up to their ears for promoting Iraq, Libya, and Syria … but that’s OK because Biden prays a lot?)
