As of Tuesday, 363 corona patients were admitted to Norwegian hospitals, five more than on Monday. That is another record in the number of admissions.
A total of 118 people are admitted to intensive care, which is nine more than the day before. According to the Norwegian Directorate of Health, a total of 63 patients are on respirators.
The previous record was set on Monday when 358 corona patients were hospitalized in Norway.
1,010,871 Norwegians have received the third vaccine dose
A total of 1,010,871 people have been vaccinated with the third dose of the corona vaccine in Norway, the FHI’s statistics show on Tuesday.
Furthermore, 4,259,058 people received the first dose, and 3,879,920 received the second dose.
Thus, 18.7% of the population over the age of 18 have received the third dose, while 79% and 72% of the population have received the first and second doses, respectively.
For the population over the age of 18, the proportions are 92.1% and 88.3% for the first and second doses, respectively.
