New record: 375 corona-infected patients are currently hospitalized in Norway
On Wednesday, 375 corona-infected patients were admitted to hospitals in Norway - an increase of twelve patients from the day before.
That is the highest number of hospitalized corona patients since the pandemic started in March of 2020.
According to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview on Wednesday, out of the total, 64 are on respirators, and 122 are in intensive care.
Since February last year, 328,747 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Norway, Wednesday’s preliminary figures from the national reporting system for infectious diseases (MSIS) show.
