While 60% of Danes are against compulsory corona vaccination, almost every fifth Dane believes that the authorities should forcibly vaccinate those who do not want to be vaccinated voluntarily.

A survey conducted by Voxmeter shows that 60% of Danes are against compulsory vaccination, while 16% are not sure.

A total of 19% are supporters of compulsory vaccination.

However, Minister of Health Magnus Heinicke has made it clear several times that the vaccine will be voluntary for everyone, and the Medical Association agrees.

“Coronavirus is not a disease that needs to be compulsorily vaccinated against,” leader of the association Camilla Rathcke noted, adding that the vaccine must be seen as a tool to fight the epidemic since COVID-19 is a disease that most people recover from.

Coronavirus vaccination will also be voluntary in Norway.
