No corona inpatients hospitalized in Vestre Viken for the first time since October
For the first time since October 9 last year, the hospitals in Drammen, Kongsberg, Bærum, and Ringerike have no corona inpatients.
“We have seen a good development over the summer, and it is very gratifying to be able to state that we are entering August without patients admitted with COVID-19,” the health trust’s CEO Lisbeth Sommervoll noted.
The last patient was discharged on Saturday.
“We hope the good situation continues but are prepared for more admissions when the summer holidays are over. We are well equipped to handle that if necessary,” Sommervoll added.
