Nord-Jæren: 17 new corona cases registered in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, a total of 11 new cases of corona infection have been registered in Sandnes. Four new cases have been registered in Stavanger, and two in Randaberg.

On Thursday, the local infection control measures for the four municipalities of Stavanger, Sandnes, Sola, and Randaberg in Nord-Jæren were extended to July 18.

No new cases of infection have been detected in Sola Municipality in the last 24 hours.

On Saturday, 16 cases of infection were detected in the region, the newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad writes.

Most of the new cases of infection are connected to close contacts. At least three of them currently have an unknown route of transmission.
