Northern Lights over starry southern Norway

The Northern Lights appeared in many places to the south of the country on Thursday night.

The participants in the big Red Cross exercise at Finse saw the vivid colours.

“On Thursday night, the Northern Lights danced to the far south of our country” tweeted the meteorologist on Saturday morning.

At Finse in Hardangervidda,many people participated in the Red Cross’ mountain rescue course, which took place for the 60th time. Late on Thursday night, the great colours appeared in the starry sky.

Meteorologists recommend that people take a look at the website of the University of Tromsø to get alerts for where there will be more aurora borealis over the next few days.It will be clear in many places and there will be opportunities to take more great pictures.
