The European Court of Human Rights has acquitted Norway in two child welfare cases.

The court has concluded that Norway has not violated the European Convention on Human Rights, Rett24 writes.

One case concerns a decision to refuse to return a child after a care takeover and involves the level of contact. The second case concerns a decision on a care takeover and also involves the level of contact.

Elements of violence were present in both child welfare cases.
