The Foreign Ministry has advised against travel to Iran that is not strictly necessary, an updated travel advisory board for Iran said on Wednesday.
“The situation in Iran has been tense after several events in the region lately. Travelers are asked to stay up-to-date on the situation by following the news, writes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the updated travel advice on Wednesday.
The Norwegian embassy in Tehran urges all Norwegian citizens located in Iran to avoid demonstrations and large crowds.
“Don’t take pictures or videos of demonstrations,” the travel board says.
