The Norwegian Ministry of Health and Care Services is introducing requirements for entry quarantine for travelers from Romania.

The changes take effect from midnight, night to Monday, January 17.

At the same time, Poland’s status is being adjusted from dark red to red on Norway’s infection map.

The entry guarantee requirement only applies to travelers who do not have a valid, verifiable corona certificate or haven’t had COVID-19 during the last six months.

Children and young people under the age of 18 are exempt from entry quarantine regardless of where they come from. The entry quarantine can also be shortened for all travelers by getting a negative PCR test taken no earlier than three days after arrival.

The figures for weeks 52 and 1 show a continued increase in infection pressure throughout Europe.
