The Left’s (V) Abid Raja calls on the Foreign Minister to put pressure and call the Saudi embassy to answer in the case of the death of the journalist Khashoggi.

“I am pleased with what the Secretary of State, Ine Eriksen Søreide (H) has said and done so far. With that I’m going to persist that we maintain the pressure. Calling the ambassador will be a new strong signal. We must be persistent,” said Raja, pointing out that Norway must be able to stand together with European and the Nordic countries.

“It is very good that the Danish Foreign Minister has called the ambassador to Saudi Arabia to the podium. Norway should do the same, and clearly state what Norway believes in the matter.”
