In the last 24 hours, 141 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 56 fewer than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 188 corona infection cases has been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 174, so the trend is rising.

As of midnight on Saturday night, 6 million corona tests had been performed in the country since February last year. A total of 130,411 people tested positive.

To date, 2,383,339 people have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 1,524,886 people received the second dose.

On Friday, 27 corona patients were hospitalized – six fewer than the day before.

A total of 792 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March 2020, preliminary figures show. It is not always possible to establish whether patients died of or with COVID-19.
