Norway registered 210 new corona infection cases in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 210 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 198 fewer than the average in the previous seven days and 233 fewer than the corresponding average a week ago.

On Sunday last week, 222 corona infection cases were registered.

In the last seven days, a total of 2,857 new cases of infection have been registered in Norway, which gives an average of 408 per day – a declining trend compared with the corresponding average seven days ago, which was 443.

As of Monday, 5.1 million corona tests had been performed in the country since February last year. In total, the tests have detected coronavirus in 113,469 people.

A total of 1,343,500 people have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 357,285 people have received the second dose.

On Sunday, 155 corona patients were hospitalized – five fewer than the day before.
