Norway registered 299 new corona cases in the infected last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 299 corona infections have been registered in Norway. That is 16 fewer than the day before and seven fewer than the same day last week.

A total of 75 of those infected in the last 24 hours have been registered in Oslo. 

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 62,575 corona-infected people were registered in Norway, according to preliminary figures from the national reporting system for infectious diseases (MSIS).

In the last seven days, a total of 2,010 new cases of infection have been registered in Norway, and 3.3 million corona tests have been performed.

A total of 99 corona patients were hospitalized on Friday – five fewer than the day before.

Furthermore, a total of 564 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March, preliminary figures show. It is not always possible to establish whether patients have died of or with COVID-19.
