Norway registered 364 new corona cases in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 364 corona infections have been registered in Norway. That is 52 fewer than the day before and 92 more than the same day last week.

As of Sunday, a total of 40,803 corona-infected people were registered in Norway since the beginning of the pandemic, according to preliminary figures from the National Reporting System for Infectious Diseases (MSIS).

In the last seven days, a total of 2,730 new infection cases have been registered in Norway. 

A total of 2.4 million people have so far been tested for coronavirus in the country.

On Saturday, 118 corona patients were hospitalized – 14 fewer than the day before.

A total of 387 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March, preliminary figures show. Whether patients have died of or with COVID-19 is not always possible to establish.
