Norway registered 445 new corona cases in the last 24 hours

As of midnight on Saturday night, a total of 35,193 corona-infected people were registered in Norway. That is an increase of 445 reported cases since Friday night.

The data comes from the preliminary figures from the national reporting system for infectious diseases (MSIS).

More than 2.2 million people have been tested for coronavirus in Norway so far.

A total of 121 corona patients were hospitalized on Friday, two fewer than the day before.

A total of 328 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March, according to preliminary figures. 

It’s not always possible to establish whether patients died of or with COVID-19.

Infection in Oslo

A total of 136 new corona cases have been registered in Oslo in the last 24 hours. That is 15 less than the average last week, which was 151 infected per day.

According to updated infection figures from Oslo Municipality, in the last 14 days, a total of 2,347 cases of infection have been registered in the municipality.

The number of infected in the last 24 hours is 19 fewer than the day before. 

On the same day last week, 154 cases of infection were registered.
