Norway registered 466 new corona cases in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 466 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is twelve more than the day before, but 218 fewer than the same day last week.

As of Saturday, a total of 58,202 corona-infected people were registered in the country since March, according to preliminary figures from the National Reporting System for Infectious Diseases (MSIS).

In the last seven days, a total of 3,726 new infection cases have been registered in Norway. 

A total of about 3.1 million corona tests have now been carried out since the pandemic began. Furthermore, 158 corona patients were hospitalized on Friday – six fewer than the day before.

A total of 517 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March, preliminary figures show. It is not always possible to establish whether patients have died of or with COVID-19.
