Norway registered 518 new corona infection cases in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 518 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway. That is 19 fewer than the average in the last seven days and 199 fewer than the corresponding average a week ago.

In the last seven days, a total of 3,759 new cases of infection have been registered in Norway, which gives an average of 537, a declining trend compared with the corresponding average seven days ago, which was 717.

In Oslo, 166 new corona infection cases were registered in the last 24 hours. That is 78 more than on Sunday, but 15 fewer than the same day last week.

By midnight on Tuesday night, 4.9 million coronavirus tests had been performed in Norway since February last year.

A total of 1,061,742 people have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 300,783 people have received the second dose.

On Monday, 221 corona patients were hospitalized – twelve more than the day before.
