On Monday, 79 corona-infected patients were admitted to hospitals in Norway – an increase of 19 patients from last Friday.
According to the Norwegian Directorate of Health’s overview on Monday, twelve of the patients are on respirators, and 20 are in the intensive care unit.
That is the highest number of hospital admissions for corona patients since May 29.
Since February last year, 157,040 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Norway, Monday’s preliminary figures from the national reporting system for infectious diseases (MSIS) show.
