Norway tightens requirements after a spike in false corona tests

It will no longer be possible to enter Norway with a certificate that shows you already had COVID-19.

Until now, a doctor’s certificate showing that you already had COVID-19 was treated as an exception to the requirement for testing and quarantine when crossing the border into Norway.

As several people have presented false certificates, the exception is now being phased out.

“Such a certificate will no longer provide an exception for either the mandatory test at the border or the quarantine.

“For a quarantine exception to be valid, you must now have a Norwegian certificate,” Minister of Health Bent Høie (H) noted.
