All border crossings to Norway will be opened from Wednesday, October 6, the Ministry of Health and Care Services stated in a press release on Friday.

As a general rule, travelers with a corona test obligation must continue to test themselves at the border.

If there is no testing station at the border or if the testing station is not open, they must test themselves a rapid antigen test at a public testing station as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours after arrival, the ministry stated in the press release.

The change will take effect at midnight, the night before Wednesday, October 6.
