Norway’s Christian Democrats believe the new electricity measures are too weak

Christian Democrat (KrF) leader Olaug Bollestad is calling for electricity measures for businesses and is not satisfied with the government’s measures for households.

“I think the government’s electricity proposal is hollow. The KRF will work for a maximum price of 50 øre and 100% coverage above that,” Bollestad told NTB.

The government also warned that there would be measures for business, but Bollestad is afraid they will not be good enough.

“Throughout the spring and summer, we have heard warnings from a number of actors in the business world that have a knife to their throats. And still, the government continues to fumble. If powerful measures are not put in place now, it could spell the end for many hard-working companies,” she warned.
