Three of the properties of Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit in Asker now serve as shelter to three Ukrainian refugees and their children, the Royal House informs.

“The refugees are followed up in the usual procedure by the immigration authorities and the municipality. The refugees have been in Norway for a while,” communications manager Guri Ofstad Varpe at the Royal House told the newspaper Klassekampen.

For the sake of the refugees, the royal family did not want to provide additional details.

About 10,000 Ukrainian refugees are waiting to be settled in Norwegian municipalities.
