Crown Princess Mette-Marit is infected with the coronavirus, the Royal Palace stated in a press release on Saturday.

She has what the Royal House describes as “normal symptoms.”

Crown Princess Mette-Marit revealed in October 2018 that she has a serious lung disease, chronic pulmonary fibrosis.

That means that she is at risk of developing a serious course of illness in case of coronavirus infection.

Her husband, Crown Prince Haakon, was diagnosed with coronavirus in June. King Harald was diagnosed with coronavirus on March 22.
