Everyone must make an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus so that people can enjoy a normal Christmas, Norway’s FHI notes.

With six weeks left until Christmas, corona infection is on the rise, the RS virus is in circulation, and the flu season is on the way.

“It is entirely possible to turn this around, but effort is needed,” FHI director Camilla Stoltenberg said.

“I hope we can have a normal Christmas. However, it needs to be a Christmas where we will still take into account infection in the country,” rime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (AP) said.

Stoltenberg asked people to do three things: continue to get vaccinated, stay home when they are sick, and get tested.
