Moderna has recalled a batch of vaccine doses due to the discovery of a foreign body in a vial in Spain, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI) stated on Monday.

There is no reason to believe that similar contamination can be found in the vaccine doses distributed in Norway, according to the FHI.

However, they ask municipalities and pharmacies to check the remaining doses and return the rest of the doses from the batch to the FHI.
