The Norwegian field hospital at the airport in Kabul is still in operation, and no date has been set for the end of its activities.

It is expected that the field hospital will remain at the airport until the American forces that contribute to the evacuation withdraw. The deadline set by the United States for the operation is Tuesday, August 31.

The Armed Forces’ operational headquarters told NTB that the situation on Sunday was unchanged in terms of the Norwegian field hospital’s operations.

Plans are being developed for transporting the crew out of the country, but no date has been set for the operation.

After the terrorist attack at the airport on Thursday, the field hospital treated, among others, wounded Americans. The Armed Forces stated that the security situation regarding the hospital remains unchanged.
