King Harald has sent his congratulations to Joe Biden, who was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States on Wednesday.

“On the occasion of your inauguration as President of the United States, I want to extend my warmest congratulations and my best wishes to you personally and to your family, as well as my hopes for the American people to have welfare and prosperity,” King Harald wrote.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg also congratulates President Joe Biden on his inauguration.

Stoltenberg: A new chapter

“I congratulate President Joe Biden on his inauguration day. A strong NATO is good for both North America and Europe, as none of us can handle the challenges we face alone.

“Today is the start of a new chapter, and I look forward to our close collaboration,” Stoltenberg wrote on Twitter.

  1. If Biden tries to add Ukraine and other buffer states to NATO, it will be World War 3 … and his intended SecState appointment Blinken was fixated on “the Russians” in his confirmation hearing yesterday.

Blinken’s confirmation should be voted down, but it probably won’t be, and things are looking grim with similarly Russophobes Sullivan and neocon Nuland back in power.

So we’re out of the frying pan into the fire.

And – again – how are civil defenses in Norway … for *everyone*?

John Kerry being given the climate mission is all for the good and desperately needed, assuming he isn’t trumped by World War 3.
