Norway’s Labor Party wants to introduce mandatory corona tests on the borders
The Labor Party's (AP) parliamentary group has decided to support the Progress Party's (FRP) proposal for mandatory testing for COVID-19 when entering Norway.

The Labor Party’s (AP) parliamentary group has decided to support the Progress Party’s (FRP) proposal for mandatory testing for COVID-19 when entering Norway.
“The government has done too little to limit imported infection. Therefore, the Labor Party chooses to support the proposal for a plan for the introduction of mandatory testing for COVID-19 when entering Norway,” Ingvild Kjerkol, health policy spokesperson in the Labor Party, said.
“We hope the Center Party (SP) can join us and secure a majority here,” she added.
The FRP and the Labor Party will have a majority for the proposal in the Norwegian parliament (Storting) if they get the support of the SP.
