Norway’s Medicines Agency has received 3,000 reports of serious side effects after corona vaccination
To date, almost 7.8 million doses of the corona vaccine have been administered In Norway. The Norwegian Medicines Agency has so far received 34,493 reports of suspected side effects.
A total of 18,739 reports have been processed so far. Out of the processed reports, 3,023 have been classified as serious, and 15,716 have been classified as not serious, the Norwegian Medicines Agency writes.
So far, 32 cases have been reported in which fully vaccinated people have been diagnosed with corona two weeks to seven months after receiving the last dose.
The Norwegian Medicines Agency emphasizes that experiencing side effects shortly after vaccination does not necessarily mean that there is a causal connection between the effects and the vaccination.
Nine deaths have been reported in fully vaccinated people who have been diagnosed with corona. The average age of those who died was 89 years.
