Norway’s municipalities will receive 3 million rapid corona tests this week
By Friday, Norwegian municipalities will receive 3 million rapid tests from the Norwegian Directorate of Health.
There is a persistently high need for rapid tests, due to which the Norwegian Directorate of Health obtained 5 million new rapid tests.
The tests are self-tests that can be handed out to the public. Two million tests will go to national storage, while 3 million will be distributed to the municipalities.
The municipalities can count on the tests being delivered to them during the current week.
Later, it will be possible to order more tests from the national storage, the Norwegian Directorate of Health stated in its letter to the municipalities.
