British driver’s licenses will still be valid in Norway after Brexit. Norwegians will also be able to drive a car in the UK as usual.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration has now decided that Norway will continue to accept British driving licenses, the Ministry of Transport and Communications stated in a press release.

Already in 2018, it became clear that the British would accept Norwegian driving licenses post-Brexit.

Thus, Brexit on December 31 will not have consequences for the current driving license rules.

The Norwegian authorities will also not require an international driving license in addition to the British one.
