The police in the Turkish city of Alanya have launched an investigation after a 61-year-old Norwegian citizen was found dead.
The 61-year-old Norwegian was living in Turkey and was found dead in his own home by a friend on Thursday, the Turkish newspaper Sabah writes.
The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been informed of the death, communications adviser Ane Haavardsdatter Lunde at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told news bureau NTB on Friday afternoon.
The deceased has been sent for autopsy, and the police have begun investigating the death.
