As of Friday, people who have been fully vaccinated or who have had corona in the past six months will be released from the entry quarantine obligation when coming to Norway.

The prerequisite is that they take a negative test at the border or within two days of arrival.

“We are also making changes so that young people between 12 and 18 years can shorten the entry quarantine period by documenting negative test results during the quarantine period with a PCR test taken no later than three days after arrival,” Minister of Health Bent Høie (H) said at the government press conference Wednesday afternoon.

The changes will take effect on Friday at 3 PM.
