The Norwegian government will announce new and stricter corona measures at 7 PM on Tuesday.
Minister of Health Ingvild Kjerkol (AP) announced on Monday that stricter measures would be presented, which would affect people’s everyday lives. Kjerkol told Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) that the government would put forward new measures because there is a lot of infection related to the delta variant.
“In addition, we have the omicron (variant) on top of that, which spreads quickly,” Kjerkol she.
The corona press conference will also be attended by Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (AP), Minister of Finance Trygve Slagsvold Vedum (SP), Health Director Bjørn Guldvog, and FHI chief Camilla Stoltenberg.
