In an update, the National Institute of Public Health (FHI) reported three new corona-related deaths.

The three deaths are not new instances that occurred in the last 24 hours.

The deaths occurred during the previous three weeks.

Thus, a total of 270 deaths related to the virus have been registered in Norway.

“On average, there have been between 0 and 2 deaths per week since July. We have not seen an increase in deaths despite several major outbreaks,” a doctor at the department of infection control and vaccine Jacob Dag Berild told news bureau NTB.

Total number of cases – 13,276

The FHI does not publish information on individual deaths.

Still, the number of corona-related deaths reported to the department per date of death appears in the weekly report published every Wednesday.

By midnight on Thursday night, a total of 13,276 corona infections have been registered in Norway, according to preliminary figures.

That is an increase of 124 cases in the last 24 hours.

The increase is somewhat lower than the night before Wednesday when 147 new cases were registered.
