On Wednesday, the National Institute of Public Health (FHI) published contact information for representatives of various recipients of corona vaccines on the Internet.

On Friday, the FHI states that they are, therefore, reassessing the risk surrounding the distribution of vaccines.

Contact information for recipients was available online from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning.

The overview of which municipalities will receive the vaccine in the next few days was published on Wednesday afternoon.

A hidden tab

In two of the published documents, there was also a hidden tab in the Excel document with contact information for representatives of the various recipients with email addresses and mobile phone numbers, the FHI stated.

“This is information that should not be handed out for security reasons, and it was removed from the website on Thursday morning,” head of the corona vaccination program Geir Bukholm said.

The new risk assessment regarding the vaccines’ distribution is now being carried out in consultation with various affected parties.

“The distribution of the vaccines basically continues as normal, maybe with enhanced safety at various points. We have no further comments on the safety of the distribution of the vaccines,” Bukholm said.
