The mediation between Fellesforbundet, Parat, and NHO Reiseliv continued on Saturday morning. A total of 800 hotel employees could go on strike if no deal is reached.

“The parties have agreed to continue the mediation in overtime,” Fellesforbundet announced at 6:10 AM on Saturday.

More than 800 hotel employees in Stavanger, Bergen, Kristiansand, and Oslo could be taken out on strike from Saturday if the mediation does not succeed.

The Fellesforbundet union has over 7,500 members in hotels, restaurants, canteens, and catering companies.

A key issue in the negotiations is the extensive use of on-call substitutes and extra help in the industry.
