A Norwegian-Iranian man has once again been found guilty of participating in an assassination plot against an Iranian refugee in Denmark in 2018.

The ruling in the Eastern High Court (Østre Landsret) on Thursday is the same as the previous ruling passed by the city court in June last year.

The 40-year-old was then sentenced to seven years in prison. He was also found guilty of espionage on behalf of Iranian intelligence with the aim of killing an exiled Iranian living in Denmark.

The man has lived in Norway for ten years and is a Norwegian citizen. He was arrested by Swedish police in Gothenburg in October 2018 and then extradited to Denmark.
