The Norwegian Medicines Agency has received 25,000 reports of suspected side effects related to the corona vaccine. Over 2,200 are classified as serious.

In total, the Norwegian Medicines Agency has received 25,044 reports of suspected side effects after 5.8 million vaccine doses have been administered in Norway.

Out of the total, 14,708 have been processed, and 2,291 have been classified as serious. On the other hand, 12,417 have been classified as not serious.

The Norwegian Medicines Agency states that such reports after vaccination are made based on suspicion and that it is not a given that there is any causal connection between the health effects and the vaccination.

Steinar Madsen, medical director at the Norwegian Medicines Agency, says that it is important that people contact a doctor if they experience chest pain, shortness of breath, or an irregular heartbeat in the period after the vaccination.
