The corona pandemic continues to affect Norwegian’s traffic figures. However, 50% more passengers flew with the company in April this year compared to the same month last year.

A total of 59,431 passengers flew with Norwegian in April, 18,000 more than the same month last year. At the same time, it is a decrease from March, when 71,399 people flew with Norwegian.

In April 2019, 3,137,608 passengers flew with Norwegian.

“The pandemic and travel restrictions continue to affect operations, even though passenger traffic is increasing compared to last year,” CEO Jacob Schram in Norwegian noted.

“Given that the reopening in Norway and Europe continues, there are prospects for a continued gradual increase in traffic. We adapt our route program continuously to meet demand,” he added.
