Eirik Eide Pettersen (29) from Bergen is nominated for one of the EU’s innovation prizes.
Pettersen is one of the founders of the company Seaborg Technologies, which is based in Copenhagen and is working on the development of a new type of nuclear reactor technology.
The American magazine Forbes added him earlier this year to their “30 under 30” list, a selection of people under the age of 30 who excel globally. Now Pettersen is one of 19 nominees for the EU’s innovation prizes for 2019.
The awards are awarded by the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIB). The winners will be announced in October.
