Norwegian photographer Johan Brun dead at 98

The famous Norwegian photographer Johan Brun is dead at 98 years old, according to the newspaper Dagbladet.

Johan Brun worked as a photographer for Dagbladet from 1948 until he retired in 1989.

Brun became known for his sports and news photos but later made a name for himself with nature reports, newspaper Journalisten writes.

On his website, photographer Morten Krogvold writes that Brun’s career as a press photographer was unique but that he was also a loner as a nature photographer.

“He was a photographer who portrayed life with heart, warmth, and humanity,” Krogvold wrote.
