Four people have been charged with serious drug offenses after the police uncovered a plantation with over 700 cannabis plants in a private home in Eidskog Municipality.

“This is one of the larger plantations that have been uncovered in our area.

“The production appears to be professional with light, heat, and ventilation to provide optimal growth conditions,” police assistant Christine Lundstein at Kongsvinger police station told the newspaper Glåmdalen.

The plantation was uncovered in October, and four men aged 29 to 34 were arrested, charged, and remanded in custody in connection with the case.

According to the newspaper, a tip allegedly led the police to the plantation.
